Program Services

 

Housing:

 

KHI’s primary objective is the provision of safe transitional and permanent housing for homeless

disabled veterans AND their families when facilities and our budget permits. Families may consist of 2-3 families sharing and maintaining a home.  This model allows families to live in a home setting, split the monthly rent, utilities and also provide a level of social support to each other.

 

Supportive Services:

 

KHI residents will complete an eight step guided case management program that offers:

 

·   Living/ Parenting Skills Development

·   Substance Abuse Services

·   Trauma and Mental Health Counseling and Referrals

·   Vocational Training

·   Financial Management Skills Development

·   Leisure Activities

·   Personal Development

·   Community Involvement Alternatives
